Check out our awesome upcoming events and clubs for tweens & teens! Events are geared for ages 11-18 unless stated otherwise in their descriptions.

 

Some events and clubs may require prior registrations. If so please click the links provided and it will take you to the Library's event calendar for registration.

 

If you have a great idea for an event or club please let the Teen Advisors know or sign-up for our Tween 'N' Teen Youth Council and become a part of  planning new programs.  

March 6th-20th

Teen Book Bag

Pick Up

This is the pick up for Teen Book Bag Subscriptions for the March Book Bags.

Teen Book Bags are for ages 13-18 and Young Adult genre books will be selected. 

Each bag will contain

  • A Library Book

  • Review Card

  • Bookmark

  • Small Prize

  • And Some Treats

When you’re done reading, just return the Library book, all other items in the bag are yours to keep!

The Native Experience

Larry Cesspooch, a Ute Filmmaker, Storyteller, and Spiritual Leader, will visit the Library monthly to share Ute knowledge with us through stories, crafts, music, dance, and film.

Prom Attire will be given away at this event. The Prom Drive will be held at the Uintah Conference Center.

Library Code Club

Rubik's Cube Club

Dungeons & Dragons Club

Library Code Club is every Thursday 4pm-5pm in the downstairs conference room. This is a library sponsored events designed to educate and give fun experiences relating to computer programming in a non-school environment.

Ages 8-13 years old. 

Whether you have not yet solved a Rubik's Cube or you have competed in timed competitions, join us! All ages and abilities are welcome.

Ages 8-18 years old. 

Teens Play Dungeon's & Dragons every Thursday in the Teen Room from 3pm-6pm. Campaigns fill up fast so check in with the Teen Advisor on when new campaigns will start to get on the list for the next one. 

Ages: 12 to 18 years old
