Check out our awesome upcoming events and clubs for tweens & teens! Events are geared for ages 11-18 unless stated otherwise in their descriptions.

 

Some events and clubs may require prior registrations. If so please click the links provided and it will take you to the Library's event calendar for registration.

 

If you have a great idea for an event or club please let the Teen Advisors know or sign-up for our Tween 'N' Teen Youth Council and become a part of  planning new programs.

Summer Reading Activities

Children and their families are invited to attend our Summer Reading Activities each week during the summer. These activities are designed to encourage growth and learning throughout the summer and provide kids an opportunity to try something new. An assortment of games, crafts, food and presenters are provided to entertain children at each themed activity. Families are also able to choose from our stock of incentives during these activities. Incentives are earned through participation in the reading portion of the program.

If you have subscribed for a Teen Book Box, this will be your pick-up day.  Just visit the Teen Advisor in the Teen Room to pick-up your box. If you haven't haven't signed up for a book box and would like to know more, click the TEEN Box below.

Spy Hop at the Library

Voices of the West Apprenticeship Program

Now is the time to give yourself a head start and gain media production skills this summer through a paid media production apprenticeship with Spy Hop. We are seeking students ages 13-19 in Tooele, Blanding, Vernal, and Hurricane/La Verkin to enroll in a 1-week project-based program. Spy Hop’s professional teaching artists will provide instruction and training through hands-on projects using professional gear and software, all you need is excitement and a willingness to learn! Students who successfully complete the 1-week program will receive a $200 stipend. Clip the button below for more information or to register.

Calling all anime fans! Anime Club is now meeting in the Teen Room from 4pm-5pm on the 3rd Mondays of the month. Come join us and let's talk about all things anime!  

Each club meeting we'll have a new project to work on, so come join us on the 2nd Monday of the month in the Teen Room from 4pm-5pm for some fun arts and crafts.

Library Code Club

Coming again next school year

Come and join the MAGIC with the Teen Magic the Gathering Club.

Club meets Thursdays in the Teen Room from 3pm-6pm. Please bring your own cards to play. 

Library Code Club is every Thursday 3:30-4:30 in the downstairs conference room. This is a library sponsored events designed to educate and give fun experiences relating to computer programming in a non-school environment.
